Sales & Marketing
The goal of our Sales and Marketing team is to give our customers and service partners the most information about hybrids as possible. We also want to make the purchasing process for RiceTec seed as simple and convenient as possible. Currently we work with many Service Partners throughout the MidSouth and Gulf Coast to bring you the high quality and top performing rice seed in the US market.
Awareness is one of the main focus points we strive to present. Our customers are purchasing a high value product, and our hope is to set proper expectations while presenting the essential education to meet customer needs. We strive to give our customers as much information about the products they are purchasing as possible to help them make the best possible decisions to meet the needs for their farming operation.
Beyond product education, our Sales and Marketing group utilizes relationships throughout the agriculture industry to give our customers as many options as possible. Since 2004, RiceTec has been working with FarmPlan to get our customers very competitive rates for financing. Ricetec is also the only rice seed company whose products can be covered by JDRP (John Deere Risk Protection) crop insurance as an added benefit of growing our Hybrid rice.
We work with our customer Advisory Council to help stay on track with what the marketplace needs. Each year we have meetings with the advisory council members in each district to gain valuable insight from them, and make sure we are updated with industry affairs.
Additionally we make an effort to support the rice industry as a whole. A percentage of each and every unit of RiceTec Hybrid Seed that is sold is donated to organizations supporting the US rice industry.
